After retiring from many happy years as an elementary school teacher in Alberta, a friend introduced me to watercolour painting. It wasn’t long before I was hooked, fascinated by the process. Then in 2008 my husband and I moved to North Vancouver to be near our children and their families. Although I remain a prairie girl at heart, I’ve thrived here from the mild climate and beautiful landscape.

I was very excited to discover the active painting community on the North Shore and the many opportunities to take part in classes and workshops.

When not engaged in family activities, photography (as I think of painting), or actually painting, I can be found hiking the North Shore trails or enjoying Scottish Country dancing.  Life is good!
